The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Winter potholes and passing car. These potholes were caused by severe winter weather where the extreme cold caused the road surface to crack and disintegrate after several freeze-thaw cycles. The passage of vehicles over the potholes has caused further damage to the road surface. In severe cases, the road may need to be dug up and relaid. Photographed in the UK.
