The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Besides the amazing canyons one will view in the Island In The Sky District of Canyonlands NP, I discovered many other interesting material to photograph. These potholes that are strewn about the landscape are one of them!

I came across these on the hike around White Rim Overlook.
